Wake me up from this nightmare that I face everyday
All I see if suffering, there's got to be a better way
Slave to this world that I never asked to be acquainted with
Take me away from this pain, I never wanted to exist
I toss and turn on this bed of nails
There is no comfort living in this hell
I try my best to persevere
But this world shoots me down
There's nothing left here for me
Put me back into the ground
Lay on this bed of nails
There is no comfort living in this hell
Lay on this bed of nails
This is the end, there is no second chance
Lay on this bed of nails
There is no comfort living in this hell
Lay on this bed of nails
This is the end, there is no second chance
A standout full-length debut in what has been an incredible year for hardcore. Ecostrike play a incendiary, impassioned brand of straight edge metallic hardcore that recalls One Truth-era Strife and early Earth Crisis, but are far from being a simple retread of 90’s past. One of the year’s best releases. Busty Loads
I didn't know about this band for a very long time. That is a tragedy. This record absolutely crushes, combining technicality, melody and pure knuckle dragging belligerence. It's executed flawlessly.
The lyrics are great. The riffs are great. The leads are great. The vocals are great. Lots of hooks everywhere.
Ten years too late this was my album of the year.
A Metal Archives dig led me to Enemy Mind, who also rule. Psyched about these outstanding Pittsburgh bands. Matt Medeiros
